she misses that gingrich was/is establishment and still very much a washington insider

Exactly. Gingrich is an inside the beltway influence peddler. There may be nothing wrong with that but he is not an outsider. The candidate that is the real anti-establishment guy is Ron Paul. Gingrich is getting $5 million casino money donations to his super-Pac -- again, there may be nothing wrong with that but it is not the profile of an outsider.

Sarah Palin should speak plainly -- just say, "I endorse Gingrich." I'm not sure why anybody should care who Mr. Palin likes unless it is directly linked to Sarah's endorsement. I suspect that Sarah Palin doesn't want to be directly linked to a loser so she won't endorse anybody until it is certain that they won't be a loser. Typical political games......turns out she is now just like the other politicians.

She lost me when on FOX she quoted Romney as saying, "I like to fire people."
Thought I was listening to David Axelrod.

When you read her ENTIRE piece, you will see Palin did NOT call Romney a cannibal.... She said that of the "Establishment".....By that, I mean the Media overall.....and some of the now has beens who still think they make or effecdt policy --- like Rove, Krauthammer, etc.

Romney may be their fair haired boy, for a variety of reasons. And maybe that's a good thing. But Newt didn't direct Palin to write the piece, that's for sure.

Many of us are torn....Some like pieces of policy of both men.....None of us want either of them to totally trash each other, and that must stop. Both of them need to bring themselves up short, and say STOP! We need to tell both of them to STOP or we will stop supporting either of them.

Talk about the problems of America, and offer solutions. That's what we want and need to hear.

Personally I think the reluctance to go into detail now, is that it would give the Democrats and their blockstep media friends ample time to trash those ideas before the November election.

Sadly.

What a nice surprise to know that finally we Reagan Republicans have some insiders.

The media has been working hard to paint Gingrich as the Washington Insider in a negative way to influence the election to defeat Gingrich.

There are several types of Washington Insiders---------------there are Conservatives such as Gingrich who have survived the battles of the left that maligned the conservative philosophy of government. Before Reagan and Gingrich and others there were no conservative Washington Insiders.

Then there are Washington Insiders of the 'dynasty' types who do the maligning of conservatives and tolerate the conservatives in a negative manner-----particularly newcomers in politics. Reagan broke the pattern; however, Santorum and Paul would never be considered.

The names are known-----the Kennedy's, The Bush Family (although I personally exclude George Bush of 2000 and 2008), The Clinton's and historically others. These dynasties then have their off shoots into the states------some doing good jobs for their constituents and others not.

Working to become Democrat Washington Insiders are the Obamas. Make no mistake if Obama loses the Presidency he and Michelle will be involved for another 30 years in politics in America in the Democrat Socialist movement to make the socialist the insiders in Washington. Michelle being mentioned for a Senate run in 2016-----.

I'll take Newt Gingrich as a conservative insider over Obama any day------and Romney who is a want-to-be Washington insider.
