Polls show Romney surging ahead of Gingrich in Florida

"I believe the Republican Party will not nominate a pro-abortion, pro-gun control, pro-tax increase moderate from Massachusetts," Gingrich said after attending a Baptist church in Lutz, Florida.

Obama and Romney are tied at 48 percent, whereas Obama leads Gingrich 53 to 41 percent

It is important to understand that for many swing voters, Gingrich is toxic. Not everybody in the country has the same views as the participants of this message board. I think this is a winnable election but it is also an election that can be lost if the GOP nominates a toxic candidate.
