Because I don't understand it as well as he does. if you don't understand him well, how can you use him as authority? The secret to wisdom is finding the best and the brightest and learning from them. how do you know who the best and brightest is? do you take someone else's word for that also? Our job is to make sure our mentors know what they are talking about. how will you know? PS. everything anyone 'knows' has to be figured out for himself or he only knows what someone else says he knows..
