Talk about in over your head.

Neeka, you are not incorporating this key fact in your thinking - "AS USUAL, the MSM didn't quote the whole sentence"

You are right....Romney did step in it....BECAUSE 1) The media didn't read his whole sentence, thus out of context, and 2) Because Romney has had plenty of time to practice what he is going to say about the people in the country that need most help, and he did step in this one....

It's probably a good thing....The R Nominee will really have two major groups throwing 'crap' his way....Both Obama and the whole Dem Party including most Unions, AND the entire Left Wing Media....

Think about it.....EVERY SINGLE Candidate the Repubs have put forward, have been put through unbelievable bombast and actual lies about them, their family, their character, and yes, their flubs.....

These groups do NOT even think of saying the things they do about any Repubs is wrong...even our side says "it's just vetting"....SO we get what we get.

WHO WANTS their families and themselves so horribly maligned for over a year....maybe two....THEN IF they do go into the WH....it continues day and night, IF they are a Republican. Look at all the really terrible things that were said about GWB...

And yet, while on one hand Rush was all over Mitt's comments and was quite harsh with him, but to be fair, he mentioned several things that Obama has said that NO ONE in the media or the Dem Party even brought it up.....

It's very discouraging. To say the least.

Rush:
>>>>>Like Romney, Obama says lots of stupid things: Corpsemen, 57 states, breathalyzer, take a pill; indicative of the fact that he's just not as smart and well educated as he's reputed to be.

"But Obama has the media covering every one of his screw-ups while Romney will have the media magnifying every one of his. It's like what Rush noted yesterday about that Politico guy, Jon Martin, talking about Newt going for the 'cracker vote' in the South. If a conservative said that, he'd be out of a job but it's a lefty Drive-By Media guy so it's 'ho-hum, another day in the office.'"<<<<<

i believe romney is a disaster. he has no idea how to relate to middle income or low income people. It's all the party has to run with. Romney still looks very uncomfortable to me in debates. i believe he's no match for obama on a one on one debate in front of a national audience.

early on it looked like republicans would have a chance but those men took their names out of being potential candidates.

The part about the poor doesn't bother me since it is objectively true.

What bothers me is he thinks the Federal Government isn't doing enough to "help the middle class".

Usually that means more programs, more spending, more bureaucrats and regulations to administer it.

But maybe he means cutting spending, regulations, simplifying the taxes.

All I can say is God save us from do-gooding republicans.
