Ya, I know but so much damage was done by this bubble that may take decades. Do we want poor employment number for decades? I really don't know the answer. ..........The thing is as home prices keep falling that just puts more and more people under water. Get under water and except in rare case, you can't sell.

Demand; demand in the economy for goods and services. The economy is driven 70% by consumers - that are buying crap. Think of allllllllll the things going into a new house and that is real demand for goods AND services. But as my first paragraph above explains - that demand isn't coming back. So what do we replace it with? More battleships? More infrastructure? More plastic crap from Walmart?
