Just simple humane working conditions and a livable wage. By Chinese standards they have exactly that. They choose these jobs because they are better than the other local jobs, hundreds of millions of people in China live on less, in some cases a lot less. but give them an 8 hour day and 40 hour work weeks with over time, even if wages are low. Many of the workers don't want that. They work for low wages, so they want a lot of hours to make more money. Even if they could live off of what they could earn in 40 hours, they want more than merely what it takes to live. They are working hard and long, hoping to set up a situation where there children and their children's children will not have to work so hard or long. All we liberals are talking about is basic human decency You talk about basic human decency. The companies they work for are actually DOING something for the employees, improving their lives, while you and I talk.
