I hope his rivals fight him for a long long time. The more they fight, the worse Mitten looks. If we can unravel the mitten by the general election, that would be excellent.

On a lighter note, I took a political affinity test a friend sent me, and wound up liking Huntsman (53%) more than Obama (50%). Cracked me up. No wonder the reps didn't like Huntsman- he's obviously a democrat.

:-) Because I know I'm not a republican

That giant sucking sound we hear is the race slipping away from Newt and the rest. It's unusual to have three munchkins still nipping at the heels of the frontrunner this late in the game, and they seem determined to keep it up a long time.

Some interesting speculation on MSNBC Saturday night. Noting that neither Ron Paul nor Rick Santorum are going after Romney, there was some suggestion that Romney and Santorum may have made some deals. Clearly, if Gingrich stays in, it's very much in Romney's interest to have Santorum hang around as well, to bleed votes off Gingrich. As for Ron Paul, the general surmise was that seriously negative campaigning is simply something he doesn't do.
