No question that has been their history in Utah, but since they are very minor part of the population I'm willing to take the trade off of their good citizen contributions vs. the risk of thought/behavior control. Don't think for a minute Romney would ever try anything like that with the national government.

How I see it to.

That is what I was getting at several months ago. Romney would bring his heavy dogma down on us riding the back of wall street.

And will probably have the house, senate and supreme court to do his bidding. He will change this country, like no one since Jackson.

Corporations will be given reign to rape and plunder at will. There wil be little justice.

<<But when they get control of a state, they tend to enact laws that conform to Mormons, not non-Mormons.

These are not "render unto Caesar" kinds of people. These are "if we are Caesar, we'll tell you what is good for you".

The irony, of course, is that this is what Wingnuts say liberals do (even though all political parties do it)- but now you've got a guy from a religious party that has a history of heavily interference in political decisions. Should be interesting to see how they manage to wrap their wingnutty heads around that.
