Information encoding is different than manipulating chemicals. That isn't reducable to chemistry. Any more than hardcoded software is reducible to silicon chemistry. Or books to wood pulp and ink chemistry.

Re those fat molecules that are used in cell walls do make cells walls very well, but where fat molecules ultimately they come from?

E-Coli is just a bunch of chemicals with the DNA in a very specific pattern and a specific set of supporting proteins.

That's like saying a book is just wood pulp with ink in a very specific pattern.

As our science progresses, we will be able to start with the component chemicals and build a self-replicating, single cell organism. It is a matter of time.

That life exists, strongly suggests that life can be created. Therein lies a challenge that humans will relentlessly pursue... and achieve!

I doubt it, but I wouldn't rule it completely out. It would be way too complicated and expensive to do it from scratch using basic non-organic chemicals. But if people do it will textbook intelligent design.
