NSC boosts dividend payout by 6.4% ===== NORFOLK, Va., Aug. 1, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Norfolk Southern Corporation ( NSC) announced that its Board of Directors today voted to increase the regular quarterly dividend on the company's common stock by 6.4 percent, or 3 cents per share, from 47 to 50 cents per share. The increased dividend is payable on Sept. 10 to stockholders of record on Aug. 13.
