Bulba, As always, thanks for your work in managing this contest! I don't want to make extra work for you....but...(smile)...if its not too much trouble...(grin).....er.... LOL I was wondering if you could list the top 5 % gainers and losers on a YTD basis in the same fashion that you post the weekly winners and losers? Just wondering.... No worries at all if that would be a hassle and, therefore, not worth the additional time!! Best regards, T.O.

2/17/12 Contest Update Contest portfolios got the Big Mo from Sangamo this week. I needed 9 zinc fingers to count the number of portfolios holding SGMO. But ROBERT’s portfolio, with its 20% allocation, got goosed the most bringing it to within a whisker of the Contest lead. At Friday’s close, the Contest median was up 21.77% YTD (vs. up 20.65% YTD a week ago). In comparison, the NBI was up 13.91% YTD (vs. up 13.86% YTD a week ago), while the Nasdaq Composite Index was up 13.31% YTD (vs. up 11.47% YTD a week ago). PGO’s portfolio, up 40.71% YTD, held on to first place by a hair’s breadth. ROBERT’s SGMO-loaded portfolio, up 40.68% YTD, took over second place and SCARAM’s portfolio, up 37.52% YTD, moved into third place. At Friday's close, all 38 Contest portfolios were still in the black with 27 of the 38 beating the NBI. Below is the Top Ten list. Also below are the Top 5 & Bottom 5 Stocks ranked by % Gained and % Lost for the week (foreign stock prices are not converted to US$ in these two tables). This week, as suggested by THEOX, I’m also posting the YTD (using 12/30/11 closing prices) Top 5 & Bottom 5 Stocks ranked by % Gained and % Lost. Since the YTD numbers are unlikely to change much on a weekly basis, I'll only post them periodically and when requested.
