I just wanted to take a moment to talk about the thread, which has absolutly nothing to do with the subject header (or maybe it will, I'm only getting started). First of all to Ghunk, thanks for not hammering me, I sort of expected it. (I would have let you know sooner, but I've been trying to keep my posting to weekends) I wonder if the majority of those of you participating on this thread really realize how AWED I am by the ways with which you choose to bring yourselves to this particular place. I've read a few threads since I've been at SI, and I am simply amazed with the way you express yourselves here. I wonder if you really realize just how special you are. You people are actually saying something!! And I, quite frankly, am enjoying it emencely(sp?). So I am a bit saddened that there is some subtle animosity, and while I may have no right to ask, I hope those who feel such toward another will let it just be water under the bridge, and get on with being the so totally unique people you really are. Secondly, it cannot go without notice that some or maybe even all have a certain gift of prose or verse. There is a thread in the Coffee Shop called Calling all SI Poets. If any of you have in the past or are currently writing pieces which would fit this thread, please, please post them to it. There are many about which periodically post to it, but often look to see if any have. Those who have posted to it in the past look forward to new postings, and a few new names would certainly enhance it. You may or may not get a response to your piece, but I can assure you, it will be read. As with any art form, it may not necessarily be understood, but it will be as pondered as any piece would. And there are all types of work on the thread, so yours would fit in nicely. Just consider it if the above applies, Another time

I may have said we always get screwed at the end....and I often say we are doomed to our own fates....but if you take anything away from the stuff I post I hope it is a smile....half of what I write is an attempt to be completely off the wall making no sense at all. The other half is actually what I really feel inside. But most of the time I don't really know if its what I feel or what I feel I should be feeling because it would prove me so completely insane; and I find that thought most comforting. I'll leave it to you make your own judgment on the matter.... regards, mnmuench
