Keynesianism has never been tried through both up and down cycles, the most we get is half-keynesians. We have a crises caused by excessive debt, so the solution is to borrow more? Keynesianism will never work in America, because the politicians in power during the boom times have no incentive to be counter cyclical by cutting spending and increasing govt.
