Tim;

To me health care is dirt cheap when compared to other countries. We are the MOST expensive by far in a lot of cases. That description work better for you? Here look for yourself!

kff.org

A better way is for you to google ..."health care cost comparisons". The first hit is great although a pdf file that you have to open. In that one the US cost as a percent of GDP is 15.3 (likely higher now) The next closest country is Luxembourg at 11.6%. Dirt cheap! and they fall off from there. ESPECIALLY when you see that the GDP for Luxembourg is waaaaaay more than ours. In the 30 countries listed our public cost is the lowest of any country. IOW's we have by far the highest cost of any of the 30 countries listed - even though in some of them the people make more money than in the US!!!!
