According to Boone Pickens who explained this yesterday or day before on CNBC I think it was we already have the cheapest energy source - it's just that we are too dumb to use it. Our NG is barely over 2 bucks while it is like 16 bucks in China. That's the extreme, but you get the idea. We are addicted to a never ending supply of a finite resource - oil! How stupid are we to keep going after more and more of a declining resource? Dumb as shit is the answer. The rest of the world is adapting to new energy and using less and THAT makes them more competitive.
