When you start boiling it down, if our country collapses because of our inane fiscal policies our foreign policy isn't going to matter one iota. Concur. But it is not surrender time. This is the time to fight. As negative as I've been this week, I am not ready to jump ship. I've been around the world more than once or twice and my wife was well traveled internationally and in the USA before we met. We have been discussing options for days. We don't know anywhere we would rather live than where we are now. Today I reminded myself of 2 quotes from American history: The first was when Jones was asked to surrender by a British officer. "We have not yet begun to Fight! ~ John Paul Jones The second was the American Paratrooper's response to the German surrender ultimatum at Bastogne. "Nuts!" ~ Brigadier General McAuliffe, 101st Airborne Division These are great memories and they both were great and brave Americans. Now we need to get it on and use every legal means to right the ship we all know as the good old USA. All of us need to become proactive.

Michael Medved was all over Ron Paul issues today...Including the fact in his last book, "Liberty Defined" last chapter, Paul says his idea of an ideal foreign policy was that of Jimmy Carter..... That would seal the deal DOA for me too.... Anyone who thinks Jimmy Carter is anything but a Flaming Liberal can NOT be a Conservative..... barnesandnoble.com PS....I don't always agree with Medved....he has been pushing Romney for some time....He did ask a good question about the current 4 candidates....Which of the 4 has ANY business experience? Turns out 3 only have politics and government offices, but Romney has State Governorship and Business experience plus has a Masters in Business, and a Law Degree as well....High ranking in both.... Compare ANY of the 4 to Obama, so when someone says about any of them "He doesn't have much experience", have them point out exactly what Obama's experience (proven experience) was before elected to POTUS......Thin gruel...for sure!
