I'm not necessarily high on Santorum as being 'the one', but I do like some of what he is saying ... and he doesn't appear to let the media tell him how to think either. I just used him as an example because he is apparently, probably, running a close second. I'm not so sure the social conservatism platform is a dead ender though .... after all Obama promised a whole lot of liberal social acts, which he has avoided like the plague since he got in. And the one thine he is doing - i.e. breaking the country down one brick at a time - was never anything he really mentioned in '08.

In truth, my selection was Herman Cain. He got kneecapped early on, which told me the 'establishment' didn't want him in for some reason ... hmmmmm Who really and truly thinks it would affect his presidency in that he dipped his wick a few times, or has a gal on the side. I wouldn't care if he visited every whorehouse in Nevada, if he could get a handle on what is going wrong in this country, and I felt he was the man to do it.

But that's over.

Daniels has something he's hiding too ... must be serious, so I am glad he didn't run. Rubio won't cut it. I like a lot of the things Christie does. I like a lot of what Sheriff Joe does too ... but he'd never get elected. He's stepped on too many toes.

Ever hear of Richard Armitage? Asst SecDef years ago and probably too old now .... but that was one guy I had some respect for. He didn't play games, and he got the job done, whatever it was he set out to do.
I spent several days around him some years ago, and he's a sharp dude.

I think we've come too far with the ones we have to just up and grab someone else at this stage, unless it would be someone who is a knock-out. I like Allen West from Florida, if we end up 'drafting' someone. I think he is accustomed to having to start most of his undertakings from the back of the pack, so he would understand what he is facing.

Bottom line, I wish I could arrange for your 15 minutes with Romney. Bring your Louisville Slugger though ...... it's hard to change a person's total makeup. LOL
