It wasn't even a thin majority, it was a few hundred elitists in DC who had to bend their own rules beyond recognition to pass it. A majority of the public has always opposed it, and that majority continues to grow.

For one thing, if and when the large minority achieves a majority they will just undo what's been done. This is not a way forward when we have big deficit problems to solve. We'll be spending time reinventing the wheel instead of coming up with something that works.>>
