<<< How do feel about the way we are polluting the nation and children with debt. Is unpayable debt ok - but CO2 an abomination?>>>

The debt is easy to fix. At the end of the Clinton administration, their were projections of enormous budget surpluses. We were going in the right direction. It was something that we could handle. Then Bush enacted tax cuts that were so enormous and irresponsible that his own Secretary of Treasury and 400 economist got together to voice their objection. The tax cuts were irresposnible. It did not create jobs. It just increased the budget deficit and increased the National debt. Then there was this war against Iraq that will will ultimately cost trillions of dollars with no benefits achieved. Part D prescription drug giveaway was a nice present to folks like me but will ultimately create enormous debt.

GW however is much more complex. It is global in nature. We are not in complete control. Ultimately, it will cast vast amounts of money to clean up the mess.

I am familiar with all your talking points against what what I have just written and I do not wiah to engage in that back and forth but you can have the last word on this subject.
