i went back to find the video from friday, and addison armstrong said 9 million Barrels of gasoline per day and not 9 million gallons (as i mistakenly wrote in my post). from the matrix keith j provided, it looks like less than 9 million barrels has been used since late summer 2011. so i am wondering somewhat why armstrong was pointing out that number of 9M bbl as so concerning.
