I just read a novel that was set, in part, on Catalina Island. People got around in golf carts. Are automobiles prohibited on the island? Just wondering about the accuracy of this.

I see I finally got my pic to post. And loved that site, but didn't find any of the surnames of my ancestors.............Olson, Mulcahy and one other. That kind of surprises me since my ggrandfather Mulcahy came over from Ireland in a ship called the Fox landing at Ellis Island, so you'd think that name would be there? Anyway.............now I have to remember what I did to post that pic if I'm ever going to do it again. Like you and others here on GITS, I'm going to scan as many old pictures as I can (I must have 300 +) and put them into a file on my C drive. Then I'm going to copy them to thumb drives and give them to the kids. I figure it will take me a couple of yrs to do it.
