I think $9 to $10 per hour is not a bad hourly income 30 to 40 years ago if you take the necessary living expense into consideration at that time. Let's say your monthly income is $2000 now, and you already had nine children need to be raised, and one day your wife tell you that DK " I am prignant" , what will be your decision ? Keep the baby or abortion ? If you do not have any addition income to raise this baby!! Many years ago, most of Chinese do not have much entertainment, and the only entertainment at night is going to bed early and had s_x. I think you know what to fill in the middle!!! In 1920s, China had only 400 million people, and 80 years later it is increased to 1.4 billion. I think you know what is the burden to the people. 80 years ago, the resource is shared by 400 million people, and now the same amount of resources is shared by 1400 millions of population. If you still think the Chinese government should let its population growth explode at a horrible rate without any control, then I think your family and each of those family in the rest of the world who claim the Chinese government should not put any control on its population growth should adopt at least two Chinese babies each family each year to share the burden and to enjoy the hapiness of over population in your family !!!Thing is easy to say when you blame others, but it is hard to do when it comes to your burden. When I said some women were forced to do abortion because of financial reasons in the US,I did not mean the government set up a policy directly to force those women to do abortion. What I mean is that due to the government did not set up a program at whatever cost to compensate those families which can not afford additional babies but the women are prignant in those families, and this force those women to do abortion due to financial reason. So if you look at this from another angle, it is the government's fault by not setting up a financial aid program to help those families , and this cause those women to do abortion . So, it is the government which force those women indirectly to do abortion, otherwise, those women can just deliver those babies without worry about the finance. It is really an irresponsible policy to prohibit women having abortion without set up a program to solve the real problems. Just like forcing each family to buy a Benze without caring if each of those family can afford financially. The financial conditions of each family is different. Of course, we can force those women in those families not to have s_x if those families can't afford additional babies financially,but, then those Human right organization will say the government is against human right by prohibitting women have s_x freely. So, I think the best thing to do is to have those human right supporters to adop at least two babies each year from those families which can not raise additional babies financially. Then everyone is happy, i.e the women can have s_x freely, the government is not against human right standard, the human right supporters will not have anything to complain , but have more and more new born babies in their families(two additional new born babies each year from those families which can not finacially afford more babies) untill they file bankruptcy . Good Luck ,DK, I hope you will agree to adopt two more babies every year from those families who can't afford financially without filing bankruptcy. So enjoy it !!!!
