you know every single year that I can remember... we get an auditor report at the federal level as well as provincial levels.. pointing out all kinds of bad things, blatant waste.. etc etc.. nothing is really ever accomplished.. so I am not really concerned about how we are not even getting to pick which party screws us on an even footing... to me it is theatre of the absurd..

The house is burning... let's debate who fell down on recharging the fire extinguishers...

I understand your point.. and sympathize.. but
I used to be disgusted... but now I try to be amused...

edit.. My 2001th post on this thread... 2001.. A Free for All Odyssey :O)

You know before I sign off.. I really wonder at the affront to Canadian voters
All that is clear, for now, is that a great many Canadians believe that their democratic rights were assaulted in the 2011

Largely the electorate votes on soundbites and polling results..

just polling my peers in the circles I frequent and seeing the complete lack of understanding of how our where Canada's bread is buttered.. makes me sad for our democracy at the best of times.. I meet few informed voters... robo calls IMO is largely going to be a political deflection tool... plus ça change...
