Could you please explain why sub $3 natural gas has any bearing on IOC? They will be selling into the far east market where prices are in the $14 to $17 dollar range last time I checked.

How is that a "mistake"?

You hang on to your "feeling" littlechuter. I doubt you will be able to buy any IOC at $35 ... ever again.
