Dennis, Capital Guardian sometime in June announced on the day (or very close) of purchase that they bought 50,000 shares. At the time I posted that such a premature announcement (premature in that they need not to nor have they ever in the past announced their purcases, they quitely filed with the SEC as the law requires) trumpeting their support of the company. I posted to the thread that this behavior could be an ominous signal that they are ready to start selling shares (this was a very samll buy relative to a position that was reported to be in excess of 10% of the company's shares), just as Vinik touted MU just before he started unloading Magelan 15% of the company into a rally that Vinik followers (including stupid Zeev Hed) created. Since then, I view with great suspicion any fund announcing a buy which they need not announce. When a fund accumulate a position, they do not advertise it since they want to buy in stealth. When they want to sell a position, they may, as is apparently the case here, make well publicized move into the stock (but very samll moves) so as to create an atmosphere conducible to their unloading activities.
