Well I gave it a shot at getting a serious answer. Maybe you ought to pull your head out of MS's ass and take a look at some of the productive applications the iPad is being put to. Let's see how Metro App development goes. Can MS build enough stores next to Apple's, pay enough Verizon and AT&T sales people to push Window's phones and pay enough devs to develop for MS to get back in the game? You can go back to stroking your buddy and posting about the latest Nokia phone that's not selling now.

But Win 8 has both full mobile and destop experience I think you should read some of the Window 8 reviews. I read at least 20 of them and every reviewers use the term confused and take time to learn to describe Window 8. Almost everyone love the Metro interface. But Metro don't run well on a desktop environment with mouse and keyboard. And they re-organize the OS, so now even a die hard window expert has trouble finding out where things are and how to do task that they can do in Window 7 with blindfold on and some even suggest that Microsoft will allow PC manufacturer to install Window 7 on window 8 capable machine to ease the transition.. Window 8 has a very difficult task to bridge desktop and mobile device which has vastly different usage and customers and given how late it is, it does not have much time to catch up at all..
