Sure. Let's call it bragging rights. Let's also make the bet more specific. I bet we see a drop in the S&P 500 by 15% or more by June 30th, which translates into a drop from 1,400 to 1,200. I also bet that sometime next year, NBER will declare that there was a recession in 2012. NBER always takes about a year after a recession ends to declare that one existed. We can use the following website as the source: nber.org Now, you have to give me your counter bet. Mine has been very specific, so please make yours just as specific. Your bet cannot just be that mine will be wrong. You should tell me what you think will happen in just as specific of terms as I've used. Then we can all judge who was more right.
