Effective date of reverse split - 11 December, 1997 (http://www.edgar-online.com/brand/yahoo/gdoc/?choice=2-847454&nad=0 see page 14)

Their new board of directors doesn't look THAT bad - the CEO (MD) used to head up a large division of Merck, another MD with 10 years experience at the NIH in HIV/neutrophil research. Also some marketing and investment types. Seems like the new investment group is serious.

Something is in the works here.

Peter

Offtopic.

I've been trying to remember the pharma that does research in neurological disorders, was it Neurex (I was interested in an announced new approach to pain med, which ended up being an old opiate on a lollypop). So I offer this as a way to start researching a medical issue, assuming UPenn has other resources than oncology.

I have the usual clinical trial cites if you like, but assume your saying you had tried the conventional routes, that you already had them.

Re: recent attention you're getting from Bernie McDermott, see my first long post to the Ligand clubhouse...a letter I had written Jill, the webmistress, regarding tone and content on SI. When you see how his 'peer group', including Niman responded to this issue, well, I'm assuming, but you probably won't want to waste time on this. I just wanted to forewarn you about the baiting, and set up approach that BM uses...

We all think you did a splendid job on LGND thread. One of my corresponders pointed out with just three posts, you created a revolution. And handled things terrifically, ignoring or pointing out all the cultural cues that are meant to undermine an independent point of view.

Regards,
Nancy

Off topic.

Apologies to this thread again for being off topic.

Another listing for clinical trials, if you don't already have it
