Here is the game. Reduce the defense budget as was done during Clinton, increase the amount for domestic spending as was also done during Clinton administration and then when a war come along increase the amount spent on defense and don't reduce domestic spending.

Looks like the same play again.

<<<<For those who think defense is the driving force behind our fiscal problems>>>>

If there is one thing I hate it is dishonest statistics! Without looking at our problems with an honest mind we get neocons and other idiot ideologues who completely distort the truth.

Lets take them one at a time;
SS and Medicare; What a dishonest crock to put these two items in the same category. SS is flush with cash that has been borrowed from to fight these stupid idiot wars! Medicare is indeed in real trouble and we best get with fixing it. How Tim do you want to pay for medical care for the old? Want to dump them in the street? We need some fixes - which is one of the things Obamacare was trying to do. Don't like Obamacare - then the stupid republicans should have made some proposals when they were in power - Bush!

Interest;
Well interest is exploding upward primarily because of the debt built up under Reagan and Bush. Yes and under Obama - to try to correct the mess left to him by Bush!

Defense;
Want to get honest here and include the spending by Bush that Bush tried to hide. Lets get Homeland Security into this category since that is clearly where it belongs. Oh ya, and lets include the cost of the wars while we're at it. And oh ya, lets include the cost to maintain a generation of mess upped soldiers and the cost associated with them that will be with us for the next 70 years or so................depending on when we can end this quagmire.
