**off topic**

steve, do you use some kind of "push" software to search for news and info. If so, what you know about it would be appreciated.

Ed

Steve,

You wrote "What I find interesting about this is, Why would Oracle go through all the trouble of publishing installation procedures if IDX wasn't a done deal..."
I don't think anyone is disputing that Oracle is a done deal, it has happened. The problem is that it has not generated much in sales to date. Do I think it has a great deal of potential, yes. I listened to Randy's reason for slow sales thus far and how actions were taken to step up sales (personnel changes). What I don't like is that in previous conference calls Randy spoke about all of the excitment among potential customers and how they were looking for solutions to security. It sounded as though this thing was going to launch upon introduction and would not need much of a sales and marketing push. Either he was overly optimistic or about knee high in something (my broker thinks the latter). Regarding the Oracle product, I'll take a wait and see approach. I still believe there is tremendous potential in other areas and I will view Oracle as gravy if it comes through.

Still holding,

Ed
