I called IR today inquiring about the speed at which SPTR's multimode and single mode operate. I was told that all single mode and multimode all must attain specific specifiactions. Thus, there is no difference in the speed at which SPTR's fibers operate compared to others. I went on to ask if this market is then price driven if all fiber is the same. Basically, they said yes, but they emphasized the "nimbleness" of SPTR because they are a relatively small company compared to Corning. They can easily meet their customer needs and have an excellent customer service. I realize all companies can say stuff like this. What we need is to contact someone or some company that has bought SPTR's fibers and see what they think.
