Besides the fact that almost all media outlets have lied about what race George Zimmerman is (he is a Latino/Mestizo), they are also censoring major important details of the case. Some have even published wild opinions about the 911 calls as if the opinions were factual statements.

Zimmerman's race is immaterial. Besides, there is no love lost between blacks and Latinos. While Zimmerman may have been provoked by racial hatred, its the police's response to the crime that has people most disturbed and why questions of race are getting raised. Two years ago, a black man shot a white man in a FL playground. The black man claimed self defense. Nonetheless, he was arrested immediately. Why wasn't Zimmerman taken into custody for the same defense?

1. When police officers arrived, George Zimmerman had a bloody nose and was bleeding from a wound on the back on his head.
2. The eyewitness who called 911 said Zimmerman who screamed for help.
3. The eyewitness also reports that Zimmerman was on the ground and Martin was on top of him beating on him.
This information was made public by a local Orlando television station on February 27th. We now have 22 days of rampant media reports that omit these facts. Once you see what information the police had, it is obvious why they did not arrest him. They were simply abiding by Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law. Police are now required to have evidence that a shooter was not acting in self-defense.

John, get links. Wingers make claims like these all the time and they never get substantiated. The only one of the three I have seen identitifed by the reg media is Zimmerman's bloody nose and bleeding head. As for the eyewitness.........what an eyewitness said on teevee is that the pleading for help stopped immediately once the shot rang out. That makes it seem very much like it was Trayvon screaming for help; not the guy with the gun.

Cofcc is not some group I would rely for what happened. The greater the delay in releasing the police report, the greater the chances of distortion of events. They have shown photographs of Zimmerman in the police station. Didn't see any bloody nose. Furthermore, the 911 tapes show that it was Zimmerman who was following Trayvon.
