Zimmerman's race is immaterial. Besides, there is no love lost between blacks and Latinos I agree on both counts but this never would have made these headlines if it was initially presented as anything but racist white on black hate crime. I agree Zimmerman was a vigilante nut with a history, hoping to become a cop with a father who served in the military and seems he was the aggressor with an axe to grind living near a transitional area with lots of crime by mostly wayward young black males.. Sanford among the most notorious ghettos in metro Orlando. Meanwhile neighboring Lake Mary and Heathrow, a bit closer to where this community actually is I would classify as a yuppy suburb actually quite nice on par with Thousand Oaks area of CA.. Being in a Lake Mary school district versus on the 'wrong' side of the the street in a Sanford district increases your home values perhaps 30% + nice video inside that community youtube.com
