AVNT. Interesting trading this morning. Some big name brokerage firms have shown up on the buy side for the first time in a long time (Paine Webber, Morgan Stanley, H&Q). Probably short covering. Any thoughts?

Pmylnar, I would agree with the timetable you have laid out for the CDN lawsuit, but AVNT now has to worry about the outstanding judgement in the Silvaco lawsuit, the criminal proceedings, the results (unknown) in the marketplace from the CDN threats, and the effect (unknown) of the meltdown in the Asian markets on their sales there. I believe I read that about 50% of their sales are located in the Asian marketplace. The devaluations of those currencies has got to hurt them. Any one or combination of these factors (and any others I am forgetting) can be very significant for them. I don't believe the stock is headed for the 30's, rather, I believe today's move tested the upper range of the new trading range of about 22-25.. until the next shock takes that range lower. Just my opinion.
