The commentary at Yahoo on the story is kind of interesting. The verbal race war has already broken out on the internet.

Here was a funny one. Well, depending on your sense of humor...

I tried to reach out to the black community yesterday and attended one of their rallies. I don't own any hooded pullovers so I just cut some holes in an old white pillow case that I had and wore that instead. I left because they were staring and made me feel very uncomfortable.

Obama shouldn't have said anything before the facts come out.

Not a word out of him when our Muslim killed 39 down in Texas.

The MSM has certainly acted in an irresponsible manner in this case. Rather than reporting of facts, they are gerrymandering them. The press and obama should be taking a "seek first to understand" motto rather than jumping to conclusions.

If it wasn't for the internet we would all probably be behind the curve on this case. The internet wasn't an issue when the Rodney King riots took place. I kept seeing the replays of the police beating King. It wasn't until many moons later that I ever saw the full recording of the instance that gave a totally different impression.

Politics aside, BO keeps proving that he is not ready for prime time. His reaction shows that he was as taken in by the media as the general public. You'd think that he would have learned by now to exercise restraint in a pending case. It kind of reminded me of Nixon stating that Manson was guilty before the trial was over.
