There were "scientists" who argued against the Copernican revolution; there are still "faith" scientists who argue against evolution. This dude is a longtime part of the climate denial movement... the rate of atmospheric CO2 rise is good for us argument is pure silliness.

We heard the same bulldookey from tobacco industry "Doctors" about smoking being healthy, and I can remember the nuclear industry telling us that radiation was natural, and good for us -- not to be feared. Our local Bay Area talk show Physics Professor self proclaimed "smartest man in the world" Sierra Club and liberal hating Bill Wattenberg was for decades, a nightly drumbeat for the relative safety of radiation.

The danger represented by the unnatural rise in Greenhouse gasses is fact.
