I saw this on the news yesterday morning- and I had to laugh. If the US has a "number one foe"- it's China- at least in terms of potential for harm, and potential for conflict, and if we have a "number one" in terms of dangerousness- surely we'd pick a nutball country in the ME. But no- the republican mind, entrained as it is, goes back decades to resurrect the evil USSR. So not only are the wacky republicans retro on sex, and society, but they've gone back to the past on foreign affairs as well.
