Texas has had a similar fund since the 1800's. Alaska's economy is endangered by liberal environmentalists who want to strangle the energy industry and eventually get the TAPS pipeline shut down.

The fact that you have a lot of oil and very few people has nothing to do with that prosperity? Because of the oil Alaska can afford to be liberal. Not all of us have that luxury.

I understand that Gov. Sara Palin had a lot to do with getting the gas pipeline project started. Sounds like that will keep your gravy train going for some years to come. That's Sara Palin....liberal governor....right?
