Yea. Those are all new since deregulation... NOT!

I think Charles Lindbergh listed some of those complaints as well when he flew across the Atlantic.

The 747 flew both before deregulation and afterwards. Perhaps you think the seats became smaller after deregulation.

Perhaps your point is that if the government regulations were in effect, they would make fat people buy 2 seats. Or, the government would mandate wider seats (2 per row) effectively making every seat first class and equally expensive.

I am still trying to understand the point you are trying to make between deregulation and customer complaints.

>> cramped seating, ie too narrow, no leg room

Seriously though. With our nation's obesity problems, there appears to be a business opportunity for the "I weigh more than 250 pounds" crowd. I am sure those people will pay more for bigger seats.

I know I am upset when some monster sits next to me and the belly flops over the armrest and into my space.

I forgot to mention that Your list of complaints should be compared to the complaints that were common during the airline regulation years...

Things like engines falling off of DC-10s and de-icing the wings during storms. Things like that happened and hundreds of people lost their lives.
