What did they do with their money. Did they save any of it for kids? That is the point. None of the other states saved their money from resource windfalls for future generations. We knew the oil would run out, so we saved a portion of the money for the kids. We could have used it for ourselves like every other state did. But we chose to think of those coming behind us! That is how liberals think. Of others.
