AARP doesn't help seniors.Insurance programs they offer can be had cheaper without AARP's cut. I have gone through their monthly and couldn't find one thing cheaper through AARP than other outlets. A huge affinity scam.

Without AARP support, there would have been no Part D coverage and no reduction in the donut hole. They are helpful for the part of the senior population who are almost entirely dependent on Social Security.
