It's NOT a canard when you actually favor a panel to cut off care ... like for birth defects: Long term care of the uninsured. A baby born with a birth defect for instance that will be a cost to society for the length of that child's life. Conservatives want every baby born no matter what the cost to support that child - okay great, then tell us how you expect to pay for it. Sarah Palin was right. If you want her Down's child to be denied health care, that's a death panel.
