That is your opinion and you are entitled to it as I am entitled to mine. In my view, to force a succeeding generation to live under a government it did not choose is tyranny

A constitution that does not bind future generations is worthless. The whole point is a social compact to bind the government and people of both current and future generations. Without it, there is only anarchy. What kind of constitution only binds the current generation? How could such a society exist?

Well, lj.....In America, so far we are free and can make up our minds to live someplace else, if we don't like it here.

America has succeeded beyond any other country in the world in being a haven for peace and prosperity. We are larger and more diverse than most any other country in the world. We proudly call ourselves Americans. So far, no one is pointing a gun to any of our heads to make us stay.

In my view, to force a succeeding generation to live under a government it did not choose is tyranny

So you want to go back to an aboriginal or tribal system of government?

The American Constitution is the entire basis for our passionate love and defense of our country, and the reason so many people want to get in. Generation after generation CHOOSES the Constitution. Some of us die for it.

Your argument makes no sense at all.

In my view, to force a succeeding generation to live under a government it did not choose is tyranny
