A constitution that does not bind future generations is worthless. The whole point is a social compact to bind the government and people of both current and future generations. Without it, there is only anarchy. What kind of constitution only binds the current generation? How could such a society exist?

The principles of how to organize a society which would be healthy, happy and affluent are very simple. The lawyers on this board could probably formulate them better, but it comes down to creating a society stable enough for individuals to do their own thing. IMO, the founders of the USA got it right - it is no accident that this nation was so successful. What we have (or had?) cannot be beat. It's not perfect and it's no God's kingdom on earth, but it's better than any other alternatives. Socialism in any form, and large oppressive governments mean 2 strikes against any community from day 1.
