IMO, those two would make a quite acceptable ticket.

I changed my voter registration from big L (Libertarian) to the GOP last year for the same reason as you. If you stay "outside the tent", you're only whizzing in the wind..

I lean libertarian and I was an independent until just recently, (after the McCain fiasco), when I changed to GOP to try and influence this very selection process..... Alas...<g>

I'm the same. I have been a registered libertarian for 28 years or so. As of this past February, I am a registered republican.

No more throwing my vote away and not having any input in the primaries.
