JB: The NC is not gonna be sold in the retail channel. It most likely will be sold to businesses & schools who need to purchase a large number of computers to meet needs of a significant group of users. I haven't seen the commercial. But if the kid is disadvantaged or in a tenement building, I think ORCL is creating the image of the NC as an ultimate replacement for the textbook. If & whenever the NC makes it into the inner-city it will be thru federal or state grant programs, not thru via your local Radio Shack on Lennox Avenue in the Bronx.
