If you are going to approach the beginning of Life of a "human person" as the successful joining of the sperm & egg , you will run into problems with 50-75% of such joinings being aborted by the "creator" himself . Fertilized eggs detach themselves & are flushed out of the womb in the majority of cases .

Though the Catholic Church defines the life of the person starting at conception we find they are quite literally at a loss themselves with defining life in really , at least if you read the Catholic encyclopedia where a 6000 word essay they admit as much . "Its one of the world's great mysteries" and they don't know what life is and when that life is fully invested with a soul & becomes a complete person .

They conjecture a great deal but unlike their public stance it doesn't seem to me that they get any farther beyond what you could have found back in antiquity , that life begins with the "first breath" , so there's a bit of a glaring disconnect between the public stance taken by the Vatican & what their own theologians seem to this day fail to answer . You are aware of this disconnect i take it ?

* The statistics of children being raised in poverty levels & single parent homes in just the US stats can be obtained though & found easily . Your use of derogatory and inflammatory language on this subject
along with repeated slander is nothing more than a ruse to hide the hypocrisy of truely not knowing anything as fact . But what is fact ... sex education , contraception , family planning & society redifining roles is of greatest importance .

"Life" ...from the Catholic Encyclopedia

(6000words no less with no conclusion at all that says that life begins at conception, only lots of questions ...someone's playing politics here apparently with reproduction rights vs religion's right to be inconsistent with itself . Again ... )

The enigma of life is still one of the two or three most difficult problems that face both scientist and philosopher, and notwithstanding the progress of knowledge during the past twenty-three hundred years we do not seem to have advanced appreciably beyond the position of Aristotle in regard to the main issue. What are its characteristic manifestations? What are its chief forms? What is the inner nature of the source of vital activity? How has life arisen? Such are among the chief questions which present themselves with regard to this subject.

A fertilized egg is not a human person. A person exists after birth.

You do not care about fertilized eggs. This campaign to grant rights to an entity that exists in a womb by permission is simply your Drama Queen side being expressed. Some on this thread have noted your inclination to play the "attention whore” role.

Abortion rates will continue as they always have irrespective of any abuse you and your kind are able to contrive against human rights. Making human rights illegal has never changed abortion rates--the vast majority of which involve no decision making as they occur spontaneously.

The only thing to change abortion rates is better education and availability of contraceptives. Attacking human rights will avail you nothing. And your Drama Queen histrionics merely displays Drama Queen histrionics.
