Common sense being defined as promoting a good future of the United States of America. Congress critters who are in sympathy with Communist objectives are abundant. 80 is a low estimate.

Bill - I have never accused anyone in congress of having good sense. Some may, but they fail to show it most of the time. West is just a guy who tells it like he sees it. It's well known he speaks his peace. These days, I'm not at all sure he will lose any support over that remark, and might just gain some supporters. Look at the propaganda machine the left has created. They don't worry about what anyone thinks ... and look who is in the oval office. We do not know that West is making up anything. I believe he said he had 'heard' ... I've heard that 75% of congress is crooked. I don't doubt that. But I am not making it up. I doubt West just fabricated this either .. and he may not even believe it himself, but that wouldn't stop West from saying it. You do know he got in trouble, for firing a pistol up near the head of either a captured enemy or a local who worked on their camp and they suspected him of relaying information to the enemy in either Afghanistan or Iran, don't you? He admitted it up front, and got in trouble for it ... probably ended his military career, but he stood up and took it like a man ... he was trying to get the guy to talk, and hoping he could protect his men by doing so. These days, that is a 'stand up' man in my book. Too many political wimps out there in so called military leadership positions. I really disagree with your assessment, is all I am saying. My opinion.
