A union is a communist concept... and of course tenure can be stopped, it's a major contributing factor, I know very well what tenure does to those who have been in the system for a long time, they get lazy and do nothing but take a fat paycheck while doing absolutely nothing for it... I've seen it very well, I spent many years in graduate and post graduate schools at several top level universities around the country, the professors with tenure at each school were the laziest assholes I ever met... clearly, they did not belong there...
