Part one is wearing me out. Let me make the transition to part 2 and stop there for now.

Identifying things by what they seem to be is like watching a wood burning fire, The fire seems to be a constantly changing thing at least in appearance. It is, however, always the same thing, a fire, according to the requirements that make it a fire... the source of it's own life, ever changing, ever remaining the same, all consuming combustion, etc. So it is both, it appears to be what it is and there are observable factoids that determine what it is. Think also about Sidhartha's river, same type of analogy.

I will think more about part 2 and 3 later.
